I think this is way tomtom updates will be from now on.
The old one off style update was £40-£50 so this way is working out cheaper for you and you get more updates.
If you speak to tomtom on 08451610009 they will be able to clarify your options.
I wouldnt say your current maps would be that out of date after only 9 months so you dont have to update imediately unless you feel you have too.

I'd rather wait until the end of the year to update the map, and then just update once a year. However when I go TomTom Home's Map's page it tells me that my map is already installed, which of course it is.
There doesn't seem to be a way of buying a one-off update.
Am I stuck with either paying the £4.95 per quarter or having to uninstall my present UK&RoI map and buying the latest version, which I guess will cost me even more?
Thanks for any advice. |
