Tomtom One XL Classic Tomtom Home problem

Hi

I am having trouble with a new Tomtom One XL Classic when connecting to my computer.

I've downloaded the version of Tomtom Home that came in the box, but when I try to connect and get any upates, I get a message saying that the unit us incomatable as it has the wrong software loaded.

Is this a known problem and is there any way around it?
