Home charger - worth it ?

Just bought a Tom Tom One V4. Annoyed that it doesnt come with a case or home charger, but hey ho.
I have bought a case , as its worth it, but is a home charger ?
I can charge it at 'home' using my pc, but its when Im away form home Im wondering ?
Id rther just stick the satnav on the windscreen without having to plug it into the cigar point, so was going to buy a charger. However, I ve read reports that even when fully charged the battery life isnt very good on these, so any trip around 2 hours will need a plug in to the cigar point anyway.

Appreciate any advice.

My wife gets 6 hours from hers no problem.

If you're only using it occasionally, then use the car charger.
