Hi, I`ve backed up my TT one onto my harddrive, but when i connect the TT via the usb & try to upload the info onto a blank sd card, it keeps telling me to insert a disc into drive f . Why is this? Confused newbie.

ok when you connect your tomtom one to your PC, click on my computer, what drive letter is beside the tomtom one?
Find the correct drive and paste the contents accross.

When i connect TT to pc, the drive letter is F. I`ve tried pasting, even formatting, & all it says is, please insert a disc into drive F. I`ve checked the sd card in my camera & it`s fine. Perhaps a card reader/writer would do the trick?
Regards, sweetpea.

yeah it might be an idea but when you connect the tomtom unit it appears as a device correct? When you double click on it what happens?

Yes it appears as a device, but double clicking gets the same answer, please insert a disc into drive F. If i use the original TT sd card via drive F it`s no problem. It`s just when i put the blank sd card in!
