Smile House Names

Hi I have just got a Tom Tom One and find it`s great, but one thing I need to know is how do I enter a house name into it, as quite a lot of house`s dont use numbers!
I have put in a postcode but these codes are for upto 20 addresse`s,so if some one say`s they live at Cheery Cottage on AnyStreet how do find the address with Tom Tom?
( Please dont say Park Up and Walk!)

Unfortunately TT does not support house names, only numbers.

you may know this by now, but after using the postcode and street name, tap 'details' and 'browse map of route'. use the slider on the right to enlarge the scale, keeping the checkerflag destination in the middle of the screen. you now have to compare this map with any other map you have - e.g if it's a pub or stately home, see exactly where it is on the map. if it's a friend's house, ask for some details- where is it exactly? this done, tap the screen in this location and the blue blinking icon will move to this spot. tap the blue icon on the bottom of your screen which will take you to a screen called 'cursor position' tap 'navigate there' - this will fix the cursor and you can now save this as a favourite. i did this today and with the homeowner's information about their exact location i got the 'you have reached your destination' exactly as we pulled up outside her house! brilliant.
