Help changing SD card

Im planning on takin the SD card from my digi cam (256mb) and usin it in my tomtom ONE, i have backed everything on the tomtom card up and is stored on the pc.

If i put the new sd card in the tomtom and plug it to the pc will it switch on and enable me to wipe the card and restore all the software?

If not how else can i do it?

I did this last night, no problem.

Back up the original card then restore to your new card
