Default Tom Tom ONE plus service and Sprint PCS

Has anyone been ablet o figure out how to get the tom Tom One nav system bluetooth to speak with a phone on the sprint network? I was on the phone for an hour with teir 2 support at sprint and they are just plain dumb. This woman didn't even know what a DNS was. So any help that i can get on this would be very helpful.

Is your sprint account set up for GPRS or 3G data?

If not, you need sprint to enable this for you - this is done by way of a SIM update, and all the settings are sent to you.

Then simply pair the phone and TT via bluetooth, and the TT will start and end the modem/data connection as required.

My phone is EVDO i believe CDMA and does not have a SIM card. The closest option the Tom Tom has is the Treo 650 which uses the older netork. The manual settings are almost immpossible ven Sprint doest seem to know what some of the mean.

I'd try TomTom support in that case.

This site is mainly visited by UK users (as Total PDA is a UK company)

I did speak to Tom Tom and they don't support Sprint Network, as they use a different type of bluetooth? (sound wierd) but Tom Tom said in the USA only tmobile and cingular networks will work with hier products and they are coming out with an antenna that can downlod informatiion for the plus service but it will only support the 910 and 510 when it is first introduced here (some time this year) and it may at a later date work with the one device. Sorry for asking about something that will not work, but i appreciate your input. Many thanks!!
