Default Tom Tom Home - We have 34 Sat Navs

Hi

I wondered if anyone else has this problem, as a company we now have 35 Tom Toms.

I can't see any easy way to update/patch them with new software releases without installing them on different PC's.

Has anyone else figured out a way to manage this, or is anyone aware of a way to install patches without using Tom Tom home?

Also for future reference, does Garmin use software like this as we're now thinking of using a different supplier,

Thanks

Does it not update each device as you connect them? I'm sure tomtom home has updated all the different pda's I've connected to my home machine.

Hi,

I suspected not as I spoke to Tom Tom about it and they told me that each installation of TT Home is unique to the registered unit. This made me think that it wasn't possible to do this.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what the software is for. We only intended to patch the devices with latest software releases that would hopefully fix any technical issues with them.

I'll give it a go and see what happens and post back,

Thanks
