Tom Tom speed indicators.

Hi Guys!

I have a tom tom 1 that is currently up-to date and was purchased late last year. I however notice that the maps are very outdated - especially in the Milton Keynes area and I also noticed that the speed limit warning on the bottom right is often (very often) out.

Is tom tom just not bothering to keep the info updated? (I am subscribed to the Plus service.)

Is there a GPS manufacturer out there that does a better job at keeping thing up-to date?

You will find there all about the same for outdated maps, my tomtom v6 map has a new underpass on that finished near the end of 2006, but google maps still doesnt have it and neither do other sat navs, i have tried them.

Saying that the newer tomtom map doesnt have this now, LOL. I belive they changed map suppliers for the 675 maps. the most upto date one in my area is the 660 europe one.

I have tried most software (on a pda) and up until yet tomtom is the best. But Will see what the new igo is like when its out in september, it came very close to beating tomtom in my tests.
