Need a little help with Tom Tom One please

Hi, My TomTom One not even a month old just sucks, everytime i go cross state, it always shows me routes through streets, and takes the longest ways, instead of taking a straight highway it takes me through all kinds of streets, I did try the shortest and fastest way, and I did put so it will not avoid tolls whats wrong with it?

You can change the planning preferences so that it always selects fastest routes. I wouldnt bother using shortest routes as it can take along back roads in order save you a couple of feet. You might to check which option you have selected for toll roads best is to get it to ask you what to do when a toll road is selected.
