Default Tomtom Map Share

Anyone truly understand this? Apologies as I'm new to Satnav's and all of this technical wizardry!

Have TomTom One Greta Britain New Edition, map v710.1571, app 7.162 and have joined map share.

Have noticed a roundabout on a major route missing (and it's been there for 2 years). Doesn't fill me with much confidence with this map update!

Tried to update it through mapshare, but doesn't seem to have sone anything. My map still shows the route with out a roundabout. Any ideas?

Any help would be appreciated with this darn satnav.

Many thanks.

Under map share, what options do you have listed?

Have you checked the option 'Show corrections made by ME' ?

tomtom go seem to be slow updating, I have had a road near my home changed !
However changes on main trunk roads reported have not been carried out ..yet

In their defence with the explosion of sat nav owners all reporting map corrections I expect your changes are in the system, have you got your option to allow map share changes reported by many or a few.. as the more reports received would I hope prompt changes to be updated!!

hope this helps..map share does work but is slow!

Changes reported by many means that lots of people have reported that change.

Changes reported by few means it will include changes that only a few people have reported the change as well as the changes that many people have reported.

You'll get more more updates the 2nd way but there is a possibilty that some of those updates are incorrect.
