Shared Updates Continually want to install

After going online with TomTom Home I always see "Map Share - Map Updates". No matter how many times I click "Update & install", which seems to work OK, if I disconnect TomTom then reconnect I'm always told that the updates need to be downloaded. Does this mean that they are not installing properly?

TomTom One 3rd Edition
TomTom Home ver 2.3.1.92
Win XP SP3

On the device, what settings have to selected for mapshare?

Under Correction preferences I had checked....
Corrections I made myself, Corrections verified by TomTom, Corrections from trusted sources and Corrections reported by many
and I was getting the continuous download message.
I've now gone into Manage maps and selected......
Download free map corrections
and it seems to have done the trick because the messages have stopped.
