Can anyone help I once found in my TomTom a way to set Night View via headlights in other words you set Tom Tom to switch to night view when i guess either it sensed car lights or it knew from time it was getting dark i dont now how to worked,
But anyway when i tried to use it nothing happened it just stayed on daylight setting so i went to change it via Change Preferences/ Use Night Colours, were i get a Message saying ( Link Night View To Headlights) and the night view dose not goto night it just stays on day view
You may say why not go back and change what i changed in the first place
I would if i could find were i changed it i have been into everything cant find it so as i said CAN ANYONE HELP
Thanks

I have the same problem and I'm in touch with TOM TOM to see if it can be rectified. If I hear anything I 'll post it

Maybe you were using "Suntime", an add-on program - If you have recently updated your TomTom, I understand that Suntime does not work with maps later than V.7

The link night view to headlights only worked with special cradles on the original V5 software models.
I think this was removed as an option from V6 software onwards.

Right now i have had a reply from Tom Tom with a fix, Quite a long process involving restoring the operating system. Guess what? It didn't work!
