Can you help?

I'm thinking of buying a Tom Tom Rider. I'll be using it 50% on bike and 50% in the car. However, i do not like using an ear piece whilst driving and intend to try and connect the Rider to an external speaker! Does anyone no if the Rider can be connected to a USB speaker or any Bluetooth Speaker (similar to a cheap car phone speaker that plugs into cig lighter). If a USB speaker can be plugged in can it be done whilst in the Rider Car Cradle???????

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
C.

The new rider will have a speaker in the car mount kit when it becomes availabe. When using the V1 rider in the car I used a set of MP3 travel speakers plugged into the BT headset. I had to get a 2.5mm step up to 3.5mm but it works well. I've now got the V2 but there is a problem with the car mount at present.

I've just sorted a better solution. Maplin have a ar handsfree kit for 15 quid the 'BT77R'. clips on your sun visor. pair it (not too difficult) and click the on/off button like you were answering a call. and Bobs your uncle
