Default TomTom Palm Version 4.120

Just in case you haven't spotted it, TomTom released an upgrade to 4.120 for the Palm today. There do not seem to be any major differences from 4.1.

Thanks for pointing that out Semitone.
And in case anyone wants to know, 4.12 adds the following:

· The Guam, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska and Canada maps are unlocked and can be now used by owners of the USA maps for TomTom Navigator for palmOne

· A much faster and therefore improved GPS discovery

· Automatically tries to connect to the Holux GPS device when “Other GPS” is selected

much faster POI search (especially when searching for POIs by name)

the capability to plan an alternative route VIA another location

the option to avoid part of a route that you want to navigate around

· more consistent colour schemes throughout the application

· minor fixes for activation of Major Roads of Europe, including the option to store this map on a separate SD card

· when searching for recent or favourite locations, names that start with the search text are now listed first, followed by names that contain the search text

· when the direction arrow on the bottom left is touched at any time, the next driving instruction will be spoken

· the option to show the distance or time from your location, for each instructionin the table of Route Instructions

· the option to hide the clock, change the time, or synchronize your clock with the satellite time

· dimming of instructions that you have already followed in the instruction browser

· the possibility to use “classical” icons (as used in the PocketPC version)

· several minor improvements to the GPS driver.

· several fixes for minor issues that have been discovered since the release of version 4.0,most notably one that could erroneously produce a “no route possible” message when calculating a route.
