I am thinkiing of buying a pda with tom tom navigation. As i will use it in a motorhome with an over cab bed, it extends over the windscreen, will it be able to pick up the signals?

Which model of motorhome do you drive? I'll see if I can have a look at an image of it to see how it will perform.

Its a caravans international carioca on a fiat duccato base with the over cab extending to inline with the base of the windscreen

You may need to get a external antenna if it is total covering.
