tt3 route planning

i am running tomtom 3.03 on ipaq pocketpc.

why i use 'plan route' i have an option for
shortest route, this takes me the route i want to
take.
when i use 'navigate to' it takes me the quickest
route, which is quite a bit longer!

can i chane this in settins anywhere? i can't find
it

I think I've solved it!

By changing speeds, in prefs, i can 'force' it to go the way i want

That's the way most other people have done it as well...don't think there is an actual option to set a preference for the route.
