ACER N35 TomTom voice problem

Hope someone can help. I am new to this so hope I have posted correctly.

I am trying to add a couple of voices to my TomTom 7 on my PDA (Acer N35) and am having a lot of trouble doing this. The voices that came with the software are fine, but when I try to add a voice, i.e. Knight Rider it is not showing in the TomTom preferances for me to change to it. I have copied all 3 of the voice files to the voices directory on my SD card.

Also, at times I get 'TomTom unable to start, not enough memory' error. Anyone know of a fix?

Can anyone help please?
