Question Is TomTom Navigator 3 Wired worth the money ?

I have a Toshiba E400 Pocket PC and I am thinnking seriously about purchasing a TomTom Navigator 3 Wired kit but I'm unsure as to whether it's worth the money.

All in, with the 128MB SD Card, it's gonna set me back circa £200.

I'm on the road most days and all over the place normally - any recommendations ?

Thanks

IMO it's down to personal preference and, obviously, how much £200 is worth to you ;-)

I paid about that for the bluetooth tomtom and gps for my palm T3. I too queried spending out over £200 on what essentially is a gadget for me.........

Having had it a few months now I wouldn't be without it for anything. I find it invaluable for finding my way. Gone are the days of navigating with an A-Z in one hand and steering wheel in t'other.... now the voice of Jane (the nicest by far) gives me all the info I need. OK it's not perfect - but, again imho, it comes pretty darn close. Actually I'm now kinda obsessed with it. I think my wife gets kinda disturbed when I reply to Jane's instructions (rhetorically of course!) - but then she doesn't mind too much as it means she doesn't have to navigate!!

If you're on the road a lot then I say goforit. I won't underwrite your purchase but I'd be damned surprised if you came to regret it.

Let us know what you do!
Cheers

PEN
