Default New tomtom3 installation problems!

Can anyone please help with this one?

I installed TT3 on my new 2210, and when I tap on it to start it, the Windows "working" icon just keeps going round and round. Every time I soft reset, it seems to start, and then won't start consecutive times after that!
I've tried reinstalling from the CD, but now it's telling me it cant connect to the device!!

Is there a way of completely uninstalling the programm and starting from scratch without a hard reset?

thanks

Nick

Through START ---> SETTINGS ---> SYSTEM ---> REMOVE PROGRAMS. Highlight each TomTom app and tap on REMOVE. Then you will need to delete any map data as this is where the activation data is stored.

Well, I unisntalled active sync then reinstalled it. Then removed TT3 and reinstalled it, seems to have done the trick!
