Lost information

Hi
I have tomtom 520 when i updated it i lost some information buttons like fm transmitter and compass direction

What software version have you got installed to the device? 8,351 is currently the latest which you can check by tapping the sat strength meter followed by the version box - Mike

With that Navcore version the compass options have been deleted/ removed and all you get is a small simple compass indicator that simply points North (as a compass should do) with no further options.
As for the FM transmitter, its still there but due to some stupid European law it can only be used if the mp3 player is in use, if all you want are sounds from the navigation via FM the simple way to circumvent the stupid Euro laws is to install an mp3 track that is silent, select that to loop continually and you will hear the nav instructions via FM - If you need a link to a download for the silent mp3 track let me know although it only takes seconds to create one on the PC - Mike
