Default TT3 traffic jam alerts without GPRS

Hi..
I am currently using tt3 on my Ipaq and would like to get the traffic jam and roadworks warnings but i am led to believe i need a GPRS bluetooth connection which i dont have.
Is there any way around it or an alternative ?

Cheers in advance

You need this connection to allow your phone to connect to the internet based servers, i am affraid this is the only way that the service can be accessed.

The satellites that you are using for GPS is actually Milatry sats, you might be able to connect your PDA to mobile phone via IR but would have to be line of sight.

A subscription to TomTom Traffic is required and will cost you €9.95 per month or €49 per year.
