Updates?

A new cinema has just popped up in a town I go to frequently. How does the TomTom update for new roads etc I assume that you have to download new TomTom data and sync it to the pda?

New roads will only be added to subsequent releases of TomTom Navigator. For example whenever version 4 comes along. The reason for this is TomTom have to licence the map data from another company who collate the data. When new map data becomes available TomTom will have to licence it again so they release the new map data with a new version of Navigator. It's like buying the RACs A-Z of the UK 2004, they wont give you the 2005 version when it comes out...you'll have to buy it.
