Default Tomtom with Sirf Star II

Hi guys,

I recently bought an XDA II and installed Tomtom 3. I then bought a (wired) Sirf Star II GPS receiver but unfortunately there were no instructions of setup. When I connect the GPS receiver with the XDA, it keeps coming up with GPS position unreliable.

The GPS status screen seems to have no activity on it and I don't know if I've got some settings wrong on the GPS status windows.

Can anyone help?

You need to disable IR,
Click on start, settings, connections, BEAM and disable beam.

Go to Tom Tom GPS, select:

Tom Tom Naviagtor GPS
Serial Cable Com 1

Let me know how you get on
