Welcome to our forums.
Product 4926 uses an Infrared cradle which transfers the GPS data from the receiver through the cradle and out if its built in IR port which is then picked up by the iPAQs IR port. The H1930 (and also 1910) doesn't have a virtual COM port associated with the socket on the bottom which is why it can't be used with a standalone cabled system. If you visit http://www.haicom.com.tw/products.htm and click on the link for the 3 in 1 Voice Car Holder you can see what it's all about.
