Default Unable to install TT3

I have TT3 and an IPAQ 2210.
The installation fails every time just after the screen which says what 4 items will be installed (TT3, voice prompts etc...). I am told a serious error has occured and the programme exits.

Advice from Tomtom (correct version of Activesync, use guest partnership and soft resetting PDA) hasn't worked.

Any advice, please?

Thanks

Welcome to our forums.
You could try a hard reset of the iPAQ.
Do you have access to another PC with you can try it from?

Thanks.
The hard reset has not worked.
It may be difficult to get to another PC but I shall try.

I suspect the CD may be faulty (at least, I hope it is that simple!).

Do you have any idea how long TomTom email support usually takes to reply..?

I have no idea...never mailed them.
Is it scratched or damaged in any other way that you can see?

Apparently TT3 will not install if your OS is Windows 98 which mine is.

Good job the new computer is arriving on Monday by the sound of it!
