Speaker Volume on SPV M1000

Could anyone using a SPV M1000 comment on the volume from the pda when being used with TOMTOM.

I am getting a bluetooth kit and wondered of I will need a speaker mount or is the built in speaker loud enough.

I find the volume average on the XDAII (same unit) but you might need a speaker in a noisy car.

I find with mine the best place to have the volume is 1 or 2 notches under full as she tends to distort very, very slightly if up full. ( Not tried the male voice )
