Unhappy Today Screen Problem on Tom Tom 3 on iPaq 2210

I have an iPaq 2210 running TomTom Nav 3 with the 2 available patches (303). The problem is that the TOMTOM item on the TodayScreen doesn't do anything. It just makes a beep as if its got an error on it and then sits and does nothing.

Everything else works fine but I have to go to the start menu to load it up.

Has anybody else had this problem before and knows what to do?

Also I have tried uninstalling and re-installing to no avail.

Thanks guys

Ben Moses

Welcome to our forums.
Try clicking on START --> SETTINGS --> TODAY --> then the ITEMS tab and untick the TomTom box, reset your iPAQ and then go back in and tick it again. Might not work but worth a try.

BRILLIANT. It's something neither I nor TomTom tech support even thought about. Its worked and now the whole system works brilliantly!!

One more thing .... when in the TomTom3 Program, why does the icon (just above the last instruction [in the nav view]) flash as if its connected then its not. I've installed the GPS update patch from TomTom for this and nothing seems to have changed ? .....

Cheers

Thats supposed to be an indicator that shows that your PDA is not on charge....should go away when connected to the car kit in your car...as long as there is power to it.
