Angry www.tomtom.com / www.ttcode.com

Very disolusioned now, I have spent lots of money on tom tom this week and it all arrived this morning, after crashing on the install I now find that I cannot use the device/software because you have to register, but it wont let me register, I am greeted with the following:

"Thank you for visiting our website.

We are currently experiencing problems with our web server. We are investigating the problem now and will have the site back online as soon as possible.

TomTom."

Well this is the first time i have noticed there activation server going down, am sure it will be up soon.

Phoned Tom Tom in the hope that they might be able to register for me,
unfortunately even their computers are not working! Eh Oh. Best advise, try again tomorrow!

Mmmm you'd have thought they'd have some contingency plan? But no, not even a mirror of their site! Shocking.

I find their support very poor,I'm still waiting for a reply to week old email.At least when I had prob's with Navman I spoke a Human and he spent a good long time talking me through my problems step by step.

Have you tried phoning them on 0845 161 0009?

They've always been more than helpful when I've dialled this number
