Question TomTom Nav 3 Bluetooth GPS

Good useful Forum.
May be I should have visited this excellent forum prior to buying TT3. I have a new HP5550 and recently (4 weeks) installed TT3, worked well, once. I have a replacement unit from Tom Tom, their response and customer service was very good. No they didn't pay me to say that.
I have now tried the replacement with no luck, but having now read the extensive comments on this subject I have one or two things to try first.
After all that rubbish my question is do I need to re-establish the blue tooth connection with the new receiver and my PDA?

Welcome to our forums and thanks for your comments

You wil need to remove the connection you had for your previous receiver and set one up for the new one then all should be well.

Thanks, but still no luck. I've started with a complete flat battery but still cannot get a GPS signal even outside. Appreciate could be a bad area. Do I need a GPS signal to pair my device with with the bluetooth receiver.

Charlie, Thanks again, Please ignore previous, managed to get a brief GPS signal and paired my device. Must be a poor signal area, will play again tomorrow, now need a beer.
