Unhappy GPS Disabled

Hello,

We are new to the Dell Axim PDA / Tom Tom 3 Navigator and have found today that the PDA was jammed (locked) and we had to perform a reset. Everything is back up and running as it should be apart from the GPS has been disabled. Would any kind soul like to help some novices and advise how we reactivate this.

Many Thanks

Marine Clown Fish

Welcome to our forums.
Go into GPS Status, select the GPS tab and make sure TomTom Navigator GPS & Serial Cable COM1 are both selected and there is a tick in the box. Then hook it all up in the car and make sure there is power to everything.

Hi, just a quick note to say I have had the same problem with my GPS. I typed the fault into an internet serch engine and it came up with this forum and thread. This is just to say I have followed your advice and it looks like it has worked, so I`m really posting to say thankyou very much, your advice has been a great help.
Best regards,
