Help Needed Cant get Gps to Work

Hi dont know if any one has had a problem like this B4?
I purchased a Ipac 1930 running TomTom Navigator 3.01 which seems to be running ok, I can set a route and see the directions, But I cant seem to get the Gps to be reconised It says Gps Disabled or sometimes Gps posistion unreliable. This unit was supposed to set up for use when it arrived to me but I cant seem to get it to work. I have been through the Tom Tom wizzard and tried to setup Gps again, I set the First box in the Gps setup to Tom Tom Navigator Gps, The second box to S2410 IRDA2410 But I cant get it to accept A tick in the box up top left. If I choose any other type of port in second window - com3 - S2410 como - Serial or Usb - it will alow me to put the tick in the top left box but wont get a signal from the Gps. I am using a HiCom HI-203E Gps and a Car cradel to connect all together. I dont get any response from the gps it flashes with a red light but will not show up any bars or connection signal in the Gps setup window

Welcome to our forums.
Tap on START --> SETTINGS --> CONNECTIONS --> BEAM and tap the box to remove the tick. You should now be able to tick the box in TomTomGPS.
