I tried but I can't upgrade - It sucks.

If you have a Palm there was no activation required (you got everything pre-loaded on a sd card and it automatically loaded without going to TomTom to activate).

So I go to the site and input my product code and then it asks for the activation code - great.... no activation code no upgrade.

And can I get through to their blooming customer services? Can I heck - it was engaged ALL day.

I expect their phones will be busy for a while to come since the launch of the TomTomGO300 and TomTom5.

Me too !!

I emailed them about it -they asked for my product code - I emailed them it and since then nothing....

You would have thought SOMEONE would have had the brains to realise this BEFORE they started the -delayed- roll out..

Jeeze it's gotta make you wonder..

Also I still use the standard card as supplied -minus all but one voices to gain back some space. Does the TT5 need a new card ???

Cheers

Richard

I managed to get through on the phone and they (nice) guy at the other end sorted it for me so that I could register online.

Try phoning them as soon as they open and you should get through

its very strange why the GPS wont connect unless you select cabled when you are using a Bluetooth GPS and let you get the option to select the com port. Alot of people who buy GPS dont use computers that often and it can cause problems for everyone when its not exactly somthing that you would think to try.

Recieved my upgrade today, not straight forward. It's upraded TomTom and now won't install the maps.
"Not enough free space on temporary folder.
Cannot run setup."
is all it says.

Which temporary folder MIGHT THAT BE THEN!!!
