TomTom2 for iPaq 3630

Hi all,

I'm new here so this may have been asked before so please bear with me.

I currently have an iPaq 3630 with an expansion jacket which is fitted with a 256Mb CF card.

What exactly do I need to have to get TomTom2 installed into my car?

I know I will need a GPS unit of some description, can I just buy the TomTom2 kit and get a cable to connect it from the GPS unit to the PDA?

Are there any cradles avaliable that will take my 3630 that are a dashmount fit and are there any that are hardwired? (eg. I just put the pda in the cradle and it charges it rather than connect cables each time I put it in the car).

Does the GPS unit need to be mounted on the dashboard or can it be hidden out of sight under a seat?

Also does anyone have any ideas of the cost of what I need?

Hi,
Im using tomtom 2 with a 3630 & 128Mb CF card, the Mounts & GPS sat reciever all come as part of he kit. The GPS part needs a clear-ish View of the Sky ie.. no metal, but behind glass is OK as long as its not of the "Heated Screen Variety".
Total PDA will advise of any extra cable you need to match up to your ipaq.
