How to avoid the M25

Hi - does anyone know how to stop my TomTom GO 500 from thinking that the M25 is the "fastest route"? I always avoid the M25 and go my own way, but TomTom just can't get the hang of the fact that the M25 is almost NEVER a "fastest route". How can I stop this?
