Default Speed camera warnings

Hi, I bought the mitac mio 168 with Tomtom 5 from a friend recently.
He seems to have the speed camera database installed. Although i dont have checkpoint installed.
My problem is when i approach a speed camera it used to beep and i would get a box in the top left of the screen flashing to tell me what speed the camera is set at e.g 30 in a red circle, just like the road signs. It would also alternate from the road sign picture and the distance to the camera.
But now it doesnt flash up with the speed (in red circle). It only shows you the distance to the camera as you approach it??? Have i disabled something?
Has anyone else had this problem?
Also, does the tomtom 5 come with the speed camera database pre installed?
Or is it a third party add-on only? Cos i thought you had to have checkpoint installed for this software to work.
I cant ask my mate who i bought it off as he has moved abroad.

Please help

Hi there,

the software it uses is free at the following site:

http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras.php

There are instructions with the database if you want the speed to come up like you described, make sure that you download the speed zoned cameras.

Good Luck

Ps. Don't forget to activate them in the POI section of Tomtom
