Smile New tomtom menus

Hi there,

Anybody out there ever wanted to change the menus that tomtom decided on. (for example why would anybody want traffic on the first page if the PDA can't even connect the their Plus service???????????)

Now you can. I have found a site that allows you to change the menus to whatever you like. There are instructions and even some example menus to choose from.

Just follow the link below and happy navigating:

OK.

Connect your PDA to your computer and then activesync should start. Go into explore, and then create e new folder. Name this TomTom. Go into this folder and create another folder. Call this SDKRegistry. Inside this folder is where you put your new menu that you have downloaded. Once it is in there, make sure that the file name is as follows: TomTom.mnu

Let me know how you get on.

Thanks for your quick response. I had to move to 'My Pocket PC' to create a new folder as i tried it in what was obviously 'My Documents' with it being in activesynch mode, and wouldn't allow folders within a folder. Dead easy after that and well worth it. Good to have the 'Exit' button on the first page.
Thanks again,
John
