Icons in TomTom Navigator's v2.24 Navigator Menu are not displayed.

Recently I've installed tomtom Navigator 2.24 over the older version (1.20). The software works, but there are 3 things to analyse:
- In the new version there are no icons displayed in the Navigator
Menu. There is a small grey grid situated at the locations instead of the
required icons. In the older version the display of the icons was OK!
In the mean time I've removed the Upgraded TomTom Navigator 2.24 to perform a Clean Installation but the problem is not solved.
- Also the Big Keyboard is NOT displayed, so I have to carry on
with the old small keyboard using the pen.
- Sometimes when I want to select another index (tab) in the
properties I'm getting the message 'Unsupported operation is performed'.
Is there a solution for these anomalies?
