Default TomTom 5 No Maps Found - Please Help

i am having problems with tomtom 5, when i load it and then put the maps on it says no maps found, when i use the software the map included is benelux and i want great britain, so i copied the great britain map onto my sd card and it says no maps found, if i copy and paste the benelux map it will say no maps found, but if i install the benelux map through the software it works, so i was wondering if there was any way i could put extra maps in the tomtom software that i have or if there is any other way to solver, thanks

You will probably find that your maps won't work as they should be locked for a single device (there is a good reason for this).

hi p4v700r,

I had the same problem with TomTom 5!
Maybe you just copied the map-files on your SD-card without making a folder.
You have to put the map files into a folder with the correct name.
(e.g.: Country Navigator Map)
For TT Navigator 3 it worked out just to copie the files on the sd-card but TT 5 requires that you put the files into a folder.
I hope I could help you.
