Default Tom Tom 700 Questions

I have recently purchased a Tom Tom 700 and as I am using it a number of points occur to me.

1. I recently visited my sister who lives at an address in the country not easily definable by the post code and no house number. I am outside the house Tom Tom GPS knows where I am but can I enter the co-ordinates into my TT as a favourite or POI, giving it a name that enables me to identify the location subsequently?

2. I made a back-up of my TT hard drive onto my PC. Is there a way to plans routes within your PC and then upload the route to TT for use? It doesn't appear to be possible but would be very useful if it could be done because of larger screen and so able to see larger map area making planning much easier.

Generally I find my TT very good but occasionally it gives some very strange voice instructions and some equally strange routings.Route planning is quite difficult if you want to go via places or take a route other than the first one offered by TT

lHi there vasco,

If you have a GPS position, click on +add as favourite, then click on the next screen, GPS position and then you should be able to give it a unique name.
