Stupid 27 POI category limit

Does anyone know the official line from TomTom about the reduction to 27 POI handle limit (first 27 loaded/detected by TT) as of v5.21? Or a mod to allow more?

If I try to add a POI to a category I know is there, yet TT doesn't list, I just get an error.

TT support are giving me the run around saying the issue is corrupted POI's (which I can prove it's not!!!). V5.0 and older versions never had such a stupidly low limit!!!

The latest v5.42 returns the limit to 39 POI categories
