Default TomTom 5 Crashing

Hi,

I have a Qtek 20201 with TomTom5 on it. I have had a few issues with TomTom crashing on me and then killing the PDA. I can't get it to turn back on, there is no power or bluetooth light. Tried doing a soft reset but this doesn't bring it back up either the only thing that will is taking the battery out and putting it back in.

Anyone have any ideas what is going on?

Cheers.
sjc

Does Qtek use an SD card to hold the tomtom data on it and then access it when it needs it?
After speaking with tomtom I found out that there needs to a minimum read speed on the card used. for it to run effectively it needs a read speed of 10mbps.
Mie used to crash, but now I have upgraded my card it seems better. you also need to make sure that nothing else is running in the background. some programs don't completely shut down when click the red X button, they stay open in the background (something else I learned).
