Default xda lli pda tom tom

hi there,i need help badly,i have just brought a xda lli pda i have a gps receiver which is powered by the car charger which came with it,i have tom tom navagaiter on it ,when i plug it in to the car,the sat nav comes up ,signal ok about 2mins into it ,signal constantly goes ,and now i cant get a signal,i did read something about going into systems and run program and stopping gps viewer because apparantly it blocks the com 1 which i use,but i can not see it in running programs,can any one help,its doing my head in

it O2 active installed on the device if so then get rid of it it creates havoc on the device youll have to do a hard reset to get rid of it

to make sure there are no programs running on the device go to
start
settings
system
memory
then select stop all then try to start tomtom again select other nema wired receiver with a baud rate of 4800

also go to the connections menu then to the beam ssetting and uncheck reacive all incoming beams.

also try this
go to start > activesync> options >options and then uncheck the box at the top of th screen just make sure to check it when you want to connect to your computer

hope this helps a little
