TomTom Nav 5 Maps?

I have a genuine SD card of TomTom nav 5 loaded onto my Pocket PC.
My freind is selling his maps of Europw CD's (original with product code card) as he has lost his job as a truck driver.
If i bought them, can i load them on my PDA as my device code is obviously different from his?.

You would also need to get TomTom to transfer ownership, or get the original user to give you the details for their TT account.
