Default hp5550 and tomtom nav2

I had my new TomTom 2 working with my new HP5550 for about 4 days when the bluetooth failed on the GPS device. It went back to TomTom for repair. Now that I have it back I can't get the two devices to connect at all, although the blue light flashed now.

The TomTom connection wizard seems to do its stuff and I have the GPS status screen showing "TomTom Wireless GPS" and "Bluetooth Serial port Com8". Under the Status Tag however it does not appear to be connected. Blue lights are flashing on the GPS and HP.

If I go to the Bluetooth Manager it shows the TomTom shortcut, but nothing is listed under Active Connections. If I try to connect using the shortcut it says "connection failed".

Any ideas? TomTom are not answering my request for help through their web site. I have an auto response email, but have been ignored since Monday 19th April.

Thanks Mike

Tom Tom may have replaced your receiver which means that it will have a different MAC address, i would advise that you create a new connection in Bluetooth manager, that should solve your problem. If you dont know how to do this drop me a email i can send you detailed instructions.
