i tried to update my tom tom 300 and had a problem with it.i contacted tom tom and they told me to copy the info off the card on to my p.c,format the card and then reload info back on to the card. i tried this and somehow i did not copy the maps,zip codes or vioces before i formated the card,is there any way of retreaving the information of the card that i have formated or can i get these missing parts of program from anywhere else.
can i use tom tom 100 or 500 sd card in a tom tom 300.

You'll have to use the CDs to reload TomTom.

You could try http://pcinspector.de/smart_media_re...uk/welcome.htm, but as you formatted it you might not be able to recover anything.

You will need to get in touch with tomtom the go 300 didnt have software back up CDS.
