Default Minimum speed SD card for TomTom One?

Hi everyone

As the subject says am looking to get a bigger SD card for my TomTom ONE, but am unsure what speed to get.

TomTom Support have said "Just get the fastest you can," but there is a large difference in price between a 2Mbs and a 23Mbs.

Anyone know the minimum speed required for it to run decently?

Cheers
pie

Consider the Kingston Ultimate (133x) Cards, read/write speed about 16x. Your will almost certainly see the difference on your ONE.

Card speed is in fact irrelevent on devices like the one and pda's, they write very very slow, so fast cards are a waste of money.
The only advantage you will see is if you use the card through a card reader in stead of the device.

I use just the cheap cards from ebay etc, i just bought a 1gig sd card for £10.20 and tomtom works with no problems at all. as i said read and write speeds are very slow on these devices.
