Newbie Question re TomTom 5 & Traffic

I am currently running TomTom 5.x on a Dell Axim 50v with a TomTom GPS Receiver connected via Bluetooth.
I am interested in subscribing to Traffic as I travel the country quite a lot and think it would be useful to me.
Can someone please explain how I use this feature?
I understand that i have to subscribe and download Traffic, but how do I receive updates whilst on the move? Do I have to have a mobile with GPRS enabled and connect my mobile to my PDA via Bluetooth?
Any advice/help would be appreciated.

Yep, you need a GPRS enabled phone paired with your device. Periodically TT will check for updates, and IIRC from when I used the free trial, if your progress falls far below that which TT has planned it should take (esp on motorways).

I'd try the free trial first to see how you get on with it. It's located in the settings menu.
