Unhappy TT5 & rz1710 problem

Hi Folks
I am new to all this pda stuff so please be gentle.

I recently got a rz1710 & TT5 which i have on a 512mb card but try as i might icannot get TT to talk to the gps.
No matter how many different combinations of baud rate and com ports i try they just wont communicaste.

Please help,For the sake of my sanity.

Have you checked all the faq on this forum?

Which brand of GPS, PDA and which settings are you trying?

I have an rz1710 with pocket pc 2003 and tomtom5.21.My gps is a BR-355.
I have tried every combination of baud rates but they still wont communicate with each other.

And you're trying other NEMA? If not try that.

Make sure the devices are paired (thats all you need to do within Windows CE/Mobile), and TT should see it when set to other NEMA. Might take a minute or two for TT to start talking to the device, then you should see No valid GPS signal until you get a lock.
