Right few things, as my thought readings not working today...

Which Ipaq model, which GPS unit, and connection (ie wired BT etc), and exactly which settings are you using in TT5?

Also, if you have WM5, you need to load the 5.21 update from the TomTom website. You should install this even if you don't have WM5, as it fixes a number of issues.

Having the wheel spinning is good. So now could be a case of wrong baud rate. which are you using?

So next question, is does your vehicle have a reflective or heated windscreen? If it does, you'll need to take the device and GPS outside until you get a lock, then put it in the vehicle and you'll be fine from there on

Try Baud rate 4800 which is fast enough to pass all data and have a bit spare. Some units work better, apparently, on 9600.

You could download WinfastNavigator where you can set your port and the Baud Rate to 57600, tap the second icon near the bottom of the screen and it will find and set your baud rate for you.

If you PM me your e-mail address I could send you the programme and instructions, rather than you having to download it.

thanks for your reply mate, I am using Baud rate 4800, I have not got refelctive or heated windscreen its only a normal vauxhall vectra., this wheel only spins when the the device and gps plugged in the cigrette lighter, if I take it out wheel stops spining, so I have to keep it in the car

Try the baud at 19200. Search on google seems to say this is correct.

I managed to run it on com1 and baud rate of 19200, thanks for your help,it is working ok, but one problem sound is only coming from pda not from Kirrio cradle so it is low difficult to hear when driving fast, I have put the tt5 and pda volume on max, any suggestions about that
